Look the Look for Less

I have been on the hunt for perfect nude colored shoes for about two years.

Why would something like this take two years??
Because.... a) I am cheap b) I am picky c) I am Asian and therefore have a different range of colors that would be considered "nude" and look flattering on me.

I thought I had found a pair of acceptable nude sandals in LA last spring, but after wearing it for about 1.5 hours realized that whatever positive qualities it had, I could not remember due to the five blisters it gave me... and every step was causing me to sin inside my head. Needless to say, I took them back to Nordstrom... and was disappointed by the fact that their awesome return policy does not apply to designer shoes. What???? I struck a bargain with the manager by exchanging them for a different pair of shoes, and walked out with an overpriced pair of shiny flip flops.

But those I wore about a hundred times since.... so I'm not too ticked off about that.

Anyway back to the shoes.
In an ideal world, I would like a pair of these:

But alas, they are unattainable. Unless someone wants to buy them for me and has an extra six hundred dollars burning a hole in their wallet.

That perfect rosy nude patent leather just makes me sick.
I hate you, Christian Louboutin. But I love you.

The nude colored heel is one of the best ways to elongate your legs. It is neutral. It is elegant. It is a classic. And it is the perfect last piece to a killer outfit.

Anyway, in my search for something like it... I found these. I'm not completely sold on the color of this one here... but the style is almost a twin to the famous Loubs. I decided to share so my lighter-skinned sisters could at least benefit!

I bring you the Nine West Escher Pump:

Jeans would look good with these. So would a simple LBD. Don't forget to paint your toes a classic color as well!

What height are you looking for? Peeptoe? Maybe Aldo WITHEY or MOOS? or try Steve Madden...there's a 3" closed toe pump called the ULLTA you might be interested in. I personally am wanting the CARYSSA because I like sky high heels, but am personally restricting my shoe purchases as the moment. :\ Miss you!
